My reps aren't being counted

Almost always framing. Check three things: your whole body is in frame, the room has decent light, and the phone is propped steady rather than lying flat. Beastie tells you which of these is wrong on the setup screen before a set starts — wait for the ring to fill.

It counted fewer reps than I did

That's usually working as intended. Beastie only counts reps that reach full depth and hold it — that's the point of the app. The skeleton turns green the instant a rep is banked, so watch for that on the next one.

Where do I put the phone?

Face-on for all three. For push-ups, stand the phone upright on the floor in front of you, about an arm's length away, so it sees your head, shoulders and hands. For squats, 4 to 6 feet back; for jumping jacks, about 6 feet, with your whole body in shot. The app shows these tips before your first duel.

Is my video recorded?

No. Pose detection runs entirely on your phone and frames are discarded immediately. Nothing is uploaded or stored. See the privacy policy.

Where are my body numbers kept?

Only on your phone. Age, sex, height, weight and goal are all optional, and Beastie uses them for one thing: an estimated calorie count on your results. They are never uploaded, so signing in does not bring them back on a new phone, and deleting the app deletes them. Change or delete them any time in Settings → Body.

What is a plan?

A plan builds sessions of push-ups, squats or jumping jacks from your own best, and every rep is counted by the camera. Land every set and the next session goes up; fall short and it holds or steps down, and it tells you why. Plans are part of Beastie Pro, which starts with a 7-day free trial. See the plan screens.

How do I cancel Beastie Pro?

Subscriptions are managed by the store you bought through.

iPhone: open the Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → Beastie.
Android: open the Play Store → tap your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Beastie.

Cancelling there stops renewal; you keep Pro until the period ends.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Delete account. It removes your account and all your data, immediately and permanently. See exactly what gets deleted.
